Quick Update

 We had another busy week with homeschool. We finished Unit 2 by doing two days of work friday and we even did story time that included comperhension questions saturday. Elliot is doing great in phonics, the program is even moving him to some 2nd grade level lessons. I love that we can adjust what we are working on to challenge him at any time. Definitely wouldn't be able to do that in any other type of school.
  One of our science projects this week was to make boats out of aluminum foil and add objects to it to see how much it would hold before sinking. After we did that of course Elliot needed to put as many objects in it so it would sink. Lillian loved that idea as well.

This week I have been doing a little deal shopping and got all this for $2.79 from Target, it would have cost about $10 with out coupons.

Today we enjoyed a visit from our Louisiana friends, Joan and Andrea
